The portals are a lot of fun to play around with. One of the first things I did was shoot two portals above and below each other and fell through them really fast like I used to in the Portal games. I like how the game ramps up in speed after awhile, and the levels are designed pretty well. The bugs are pretty rare and unimpactful, and sometimes even a little funny. They're quick fixes so they don't really take from the enjoyment of the game.

  • What else can be implemented to make the game more fun and replayable?
    • I think if you make the camera movement start off a bit slow, it'll give new players a chance to learn the basics and then jump into the endless runner. Overall the game was super fun and had be me playing again and again!
  • Are the Portals working as intended?
    • The portals work beautifully, since I played the portal games I knew how to work them and it worked so smoothly with the directional mouse input and the easy movements helped.
  • Are you confused at all by the concepts presented? How can they be presented more clearly to make it less confusing?
    • I think with future updates, the different color of the portals could have more use, at times the color of the portals do not matter but it does give some nice aesthetics and I liked but some people could confused with the different colors. The grey blocks were perfect though, it gave the player a clear understanding as to which wall can generate the portal.

I like the concept a lot, very interesting spin on an existing idea. The implementation works really well in my experience too, I didn't run into many bugs.

I did see the issue with the player rapidly teleporting back and forth between portals, one way to fix this might be to make it so that the player cannot reenter the portal they just exited for a short time (2-5 frames) so that they have time to move away from the portal before it re-teleports them,

Otherwise, I might just try and add a few more elements to the game.

This game is a lot of fun.  As a fan of portal 1 & 2,  I love the concept. An endless runner where you have to spawn portals in order to not die. I think what I love most is the fact that in Portal, you have to be methodical with your portals in order to solve puzzles. In this game however, I am spamming portals with urgency in order to stay alive. It's the same mechanic implemented in an entirely new way. I think that's really cool. Good work!

I didn't run into any bugs with the portals they most worked as intended. I am playing on mousepad so I kind of wish there was an alternate control scheme other than using left and right click. That's a minor complaint though. Once this game is on Steam, Xbox, and Playstation and has full controller support that won't be an issue.

I wasn't confused by any of the concepts but I also played the portal games so I went in with that knowledge. I think even if I hadn't I would've been able to pick up on it.

That being said, If you made the level start out slower I think it would give the player more time to learn. I feel like there's not a whole lot of time to catch your breath when the game starts.

I would say to add visual elements to your level, but I think that might be kind of distracting. I actually like the plain gray level because it keeps the focus where it should be and its easy to see your portals.

This game is a lot of fun. Good work!
